Ok... So...

I came up with a new plan that I put into action yesterday.

I ate a total of 800 calories yesterday. I'm going to continue on 800 calories a day for a week and see if I can't shock my metabolism into working.

I ate:

1 Container of Light Yoplait Yogurt (100 Calories)
8 Cubes pre-cut Colby Jack Cheese (110 Calories)
1 Cup Fruit Salad (120 Calories)
1 Pkg. Light Peanut Butter Cracker(160 Calories)
4 Oz Chicken Breast (172 Calories)
5 Oz Boiled Russet Potato (110 Calories)
1/2 Cup Cooked Baby Carrots (27 Calories)

Total Daily Calories: 799
Total Daily Points: 18

I was hungry when I went to bed but not STARVING. My activity level yesterday was LOW because I was having a lot of colon pain. It was the 3rd day in a row. Thank GOD it stopped late last night and today I'm doing better.

I exercised in the pool this morning for an hour from 8am to 9am. I'm about to eat something and then go clean the upstairs. Hopefully this is going to kick start my body into a loosing cycle again. Keep your fingers, toes and anything else you can cross... crossed!

Bleh

We spent today at the baseball field. Opening Ceremonies were this morning. Shecky played in a double header. We lost both games. The kids don't play so well but my GOD was it entertaining. Heh.

Unfortunately, my daily eats weren't so great as a result. Today I ate:

Breakfast:

1/2 an Egg Scrambled
2 Slices of Bacon
2 Slices Bread and Fat Free Country Gravy

Lunch:

Taco Salad (Unfortunately it was VERY greasy and SALTY)

Dinner:

Boiled Crawfish (SUPAH SALTY)

I'm thinking about my salt intake today and now I'm DREADING weigh in tomorrow. /cry

Menu for 03-27-2008

What I ate yesterday:

Breakfast:

2 Eggs Fried with Pam
1 pkg Instant Grits made with water
2 slices Bacon
Skim Milk

Lunch:

Deconstructed Guacamole Salad Recipe follows:
3 Roma Tomato's
1 Cucumber
1.5 Avocado's
1/2 of a small Purple Onion
Balsamic Breeze Salad Spritzer
Salt
Pepper

Dice veggies into medium sized chunks. (Slice onions slightly smaller.) POUR Balsamic Breeze over veggies. Enough to moisten but not float. Add Salt and pepper to taste.

So, SO good.

Supper:

2 boiled small red potato's
1/2 ear corn on the cob
Boiled Crawfish

Snack:

BBQ Hamburger on Sunbeam Bread with FF Mayo and Mustard. (SO not enough crawfish to get satisfied with.)

Back In The Saddle Again...

Things are finally starting to settle into routine for us again. Shecky is back in school. I got his progress report and he's making all A's and B's again. Baseball practice has begun. Apparently, he's a left handed batter... he does everything ELSE with his right hang... Huh? Opening day for Baseball is Saturday and he
has a double header. God help us all. May it be quick and injury free.

I'm back to exercising and dieting regularly. I actually managed to LOOSE a pound over the last 3 weeks. During all the turmoil and ... well intentioned food... I managed to still loose. WOOT! I'm down 70 lbs now. I've lost 2 shirt sizes. My ass seems to be the same size though. Basta'd.

I promise I'm back now with regular posts. Hopefully more interesting than THIS one. Heh.

Things I ate today:

Breakfast:

Fresh Fruit Salad

Lunch:

A roasted chicken and cheese sandwich with 2% cheese, Fat Free Mayo and Honey Mustard.

Light Lays Potato Chips. (Less than an oz. Just enough to give my sammy some crunch.)

Dinner:

BBQ hamburger made with lean ground meat and light bbq sauce. 2% cheese, FF Mayo and regular mustard.

Skim Milk

6oz Turkey Sausage (6 points)
1/2 Cup New Orleans Style Spicy Cream Navy Beans (2 points)
1/2 Cup Cooked Baby Carrots (1 point) Total Meal: 9 points

Snacks:

1 HUGE Dill Pickle
1 Cup SF/97% FF Brownie Fudge Sundae Ice Cream by Blue Bunny (3 points)

Total Points for Day: 28 points.

Short again. Grrrrr.

New Stuffs

Just a quickie update for you guys.

I've been out of town for the last 10 days or so visiting the in-laws. It was a nice vacation but basically I ate like crap. I'm scared to weigh tomorrow to be honest.

Tomorrow I go back on program hard core. I'll be posting my daily menu and points counts as I did in the past. I've had a couple of requests to begin doing that again and, to be honest, it really helped me stay on track with my eating. It made it much less tempting for me to cheat a lil here or there when I had to post what I was eating. Heh. Vanity thy name is NotAMeanGirl.

I'm not sure how you guys feel about this though. Lemme know what you think. Should I do this here or take my weight loss stuff to a 2nd blog. (God help me I dunno if I can keep up with 2 blogs but I'll try if you guys would rather have it separate.)

Now that the holidays and vacation are over and my 39th birthday is JUST around the corner ::Whimper:: its time for me to re-commit to my weight loss efforts. The exercise pool should be up and ready for me to use shortly (Thank God) and I'll be exercising more as well. I actually MISS the exercise. Man... how weird is THAT? (So very, VERY weird... heh)

Shecky goes back to school tomorrow as well. Its a new year and a new start for everyone. :)

Eating to Survive...

I have something really... odd... going on. My blood sugars are LOW. Yesterday I crashed twice. Today I crashed again. Its been like this for a week... and its getting ... old.

Last night I had to eat a waffle and syrup before bed just so I could take my insulin. I mean.. COME ON! That's not terribly conducive to loosing weight.

We had BBQ hamburgers tonight. One patty, two slices of bread and a slice of 2% cheese is 6 points. I just had to eat a 2nd one so I could take my insulin... I've NEVER had to work this hard to keep my sugars up... its neat and a pain in the ass all at the same time. I'll be interested to see what my weight is tomorrow and I'll be calling the Dr. Monday to see what gives!

Mmmmmm Fall

Today has been a really nice day thus far. I was up till 3am.. ish. Which sucked. Husband was driving to Fort Worth for his monthly USAF Reserve duty. The traffic, due to the start of hunting season which... yanno... I TOTALLY DON'T GET!, was HORRENDOUS. It was bumper to bumper going out of town. Husband decided to go home and sleep for a couple of hours and head out around 9pm. Great idea except since he was driving so late I din sleep. I never do when someone I care about is traveling. I called him every thirty minutes to an hour to make sure he was still awake and not yanno... laying on the road somewhere after smashing into an 18 wheeler ... cough... (And I wonder where Shecky's imagination comes from heh).

I slept till almost 10am. Holy crap. That's unusual. I feel really great today because I actually got some sleep! I got up and Shecky and I made Caramel apples together. That was actually REALLY fun. The kiddo was drooling over them... hehehe... I made him wait till after lunch to have one. Evil Mama that I am.

Now I'm just kinda... chillin. Surfing the web, gonna read a bit, having just a lazy kinda day.

Weight loss wise its going pretty well. I was kinda bad at 2am. I had a donut. I wanted the sugar to help keep me awake. I counted the 5 points as my breakfast. Heh. Whut? It was after midnight and EVERYONE knows your points start over at midnight!!!!

For lunch I had 6 oz turkey sausage in a tomato sauce and onion gravy with 1 cup of rice. I've had a total of 16 points. Tonight for dinner it'll be Meatball Stew (ZOMG do I LOVE that crap! My Mom is the bestest cook EVAH!) with Cous Cous and some sort of veggies. I need to eat some yogurt and fruit today as well. I'm not feeling terribly organized food-wise today. Heh. Its kinda nice really.
